A few days ago I had the pleasure of working with a group of Spanish filmmakers who are here in the city of Los Angeles to make a short film entitled “Ready to Talk“.
Directed and written by Ángeles Reiné, with a long career in commercials and TV series in Spain, he made contact with me through the Catalan Jordi Caballero (Actor, Choreographer, producer) whom I met at a meeting of Venezolanos en Hollywood a few months ago
The process was fast and intense but I was very satisfied with the opportunity to work with friends and very professional people. At the same time to know the circle of Spaniards who live here with a very good attitude and open to collaborate artistically in the audiovisual movement. Similarly, I had contact with Andrés Faucher, compatriot who once again demonstrated in this piece his acting qualities alongside the super actress Tamara Arias.
Ángeles Reiné conveyed a lot of passion for what she does and her energy kept us in a good mood to participate in “Ready to Talk” Hopefully this project will open many doors (I’m sure it does). She shares the script with Carlos Ciurlizza, a Peruvian also with a lot of acting potential who executes a character that makes us smile in this Short Film.
It should be noted that they were also in the cast: Steve Wilcox and Emily Dean (old friends to whom I have a lot of love).
At the moment, the short film was accepted in the Festival de Sevilla.
